1. Terms of Sale

A. All purchases made through the website of the American University of Baghdad Press are subject to product availability and payment confirmation. Prices are listed in Iraqi dinars and U.S. dollars and may be updated without prior notice. By placing an order, customers agree to provide accurate information and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The Press reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or refuse any order.

B. Delivery Delays

The AUIB Press shall exercise reasonable care to process and deliver orders within the indicated timeframes. However, the Press shall not be held liable for any delays in delivery resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to shipping and transportation issues, governmental procedures, security conditions, force majeure events, or any unforeseen circumstances.

All delivery timelines are estimates only and shall not be deemed binding. No compensation shall be due for any delay unless such delay results from gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Press.

C. Disclaimer of Liability

All content and services provided on the website are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any express or implied warranties of any kind.

The AUIB Press makes no representations or warranties regarding:

The accuracy or completeness of the content
The absence of errors or viruses
The suitability of the content for any particular purpose

2. Returns Policy

The Press accepts returns of damaged or defective books within seven (7) days of delivery. To initiate a return, customers must provide proof of purchase and contact the American University of Baghdad Press via email at [[email protected]]. Items must be returned in their original condition. Requests for refunds or replacements are subject to review. Digital publications are non-refundable unless proven defective.

3. Privacy Policy

The American University of Baghdad Press is committed to safeguarding your privacy and protecting your personal information. Any data collected through the website, including names, email addresses, and payment details, is used exclusively for order processing and communication. The Press does not disclose personal information to third parties except where necessary to complete transactions or to comply with applicable legal obligations.

Technical Availability of the Website
The AUIB Press does not guarantee that the website will be available at all times without interruption or that it will be free from technical errors.

The Press shall not be liable for:

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These policies shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in the Republic of Iraq.

The courts of the Republic of Iraq shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of the website or the interpretation or enforcement of these policies.

شروط البيع
تخضع جميع المشتريات التي تتمّ عبر الموقع الإلكتروني لدار نشر الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد لتوفر الكتب وتأكيد الدفع. الأسعار مُدرجة بالدينار العراقي والدولار الأمريكي، وقد يتمّ تحديثها من دون إشعار مسبق. بتقديم الطلب، يوافق العملاء على تقديم معلومات دقيقة والامتثال للقوانين واللوائح المعمول بها. تحتفظ الدار بالحق في إلغاء أيّ طلب أو رفضه على وفق تقديرها.
تأخير التسليم

تبذل دار نشر الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد العناية اللازمة لمعالجة الطلبات وتسليمها ضمن الأطر الزمنية المحددة. ومع ذلك، لا تتحمل الدار مسؤولية أي تأخير في التسليم ناتج عن ظروف خارجة عن سيطرتها، بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر، مشاكل الشحن والنقل، والإجراءات الحكومية، والظروف الأمنية، وحالات الظروف القاهرة، أو أي غير المتوقعة.

سياسة الإرجاع

تقبل دار نشر الجامعة إرجاع الكتب التالفة أو ذات العيوب خلال (7) أيام من تاريخ التسليم. لطلب الإرجاع، يجب على العملاء تقديم وصل الشراء والتواصل مع دار نشر الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد عبر البريد الإلكتروني [[email protected]] . يجب إرجاع الكتب في حالتها الأصلية. تخضع طلبات الاسترداد أو الاستبدال للمراجعة. علماً أن الكتب الرقمية غير قابلة للاسترداد إلا في حال ثبوت وجود عيب فيها.

سياسة الخصوصية

تحترم دار نشر الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد خصوصيتك وتلتزم بحماية معلوماتك الشخصية. تُستخدم أيّ بيانات يتمّ جمعها عبر الموقع الإلكتروني، بما في ذلك الأسماء وعناوين البريد الإلكتروني وتفاصيل الدفع، لأغراض الطلبات والتواصل فقط. لا تشارك دار نشر الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد المعلومات الشخصية مع أيّ طرف ثالث، إلا بالقدر اللازم لإتمام المعاملات أو الامتثال للالتزامات القانونية.

لا تضمن دار نشر الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد توافر الموقع الإلكتروني في جميع الأوقات دون انقطاع أو خلوه من الأخطاء التقنية.

لا تتحمل الدار مسؤولية ما يأتي:

أي انقطاع مؤقت أو دائم للموقع الإلكتروني.
فقدان البيانات أو التأخير في معالجة الطلبات.
أي ضرر مباشر أو غير مباشر ينشأ عن استخدام الموقع الإلكتروني أو عدم القدرة على استخدامه، باستثناء الأضرار الناجمة عن إهمال جسيم أو سوء سلوك متعمد من جانب دار النشر.
القانون الحاكم والاختصاص القضائي

تخضع هذه السياسات وتُفسَّر على وفق القوانين السارية في جمهورية العراق.

تختص محاكم جمهورية العراق حصراً بالنظر والفصل في أي نزاعات تنشأ عن أو متعلقة باستخدام الموقع الإلكتروني أو تفسير أو إنفاذ هذه السياسات.
